ment Practices and Future Needs Conference.  Expect to discuss current practices and define future needs and research priorities as

Conceived in 1929, the Riverwalk has become San Antonio's most popular attraction. Punctuated by fountains and towering Cypress trees, the Riverwalk is lined with restaurants, shops and nightclubs. Trolleys and river barges provide old-fashioned transportation up and down the river.
 
 
Conference Site - Holiday Inn El Tropicano Riverwalk
Located at the intersection of Lexington and North St. Mary's on
San Antonio's famous Paseo del Rio (Riverwalk), the El 
Tropicano is accessible by foot, trolley and river barge.  
Approximately 8 miles from the San Antonio International Air-
port, shuttles and taxis provide transportation to and from the 
airport for a nominal fee.  Trolleys to downtown attractions leave
approximately every ten minutes just outside the hotel.  Enjoy the
San Antonio River by river barge leaving the hotel approximately
every 40 minutes.
 
Open weekends in November, this wet theme park is a treat for anyone who loves animals, roller coasters and fabulous shows.  
 
The San Antonio Zoo is ranked as one of the best zoos in the nation! Located at the headwaters of the San Antonio River, the zoo exhibits over 3,500 animals from 750 different species within 35 landscaped acres.

Lodging Information 
A limited number of rooms have been reserved for this event at
the Holiday Inn El Tropicano Riverwalk.  Prices are $112.00 per
night plus tax, single or double occupancy (subject to pre-
vailing government per diem).  Individuals are responsible for
making their own reservations and can do so by contacting the

Management Conference to ensure you receive the reduced 
rate.  Room reservations must be made by Monday, October 12,
2008.  Reservations made after this date will be subject to
