RiverwalkConceived in 1929, the Riverwalk has become San Antonio's most popular attraction. Punctuated by fountains and towering Cypress trees, the Riverwalk is lined with restaurants, shops and nightclubs. Trolleys and river barges provide old-fashioned transportation up and down the river.
Sea World San AntonioOpen weekends in November, this wet theme park is a treat for anyone who loves animals, roller coasters and fabulous shows. San Antonio ZooThe San Antonio Zoo is ranked as one of the best zoos in the nation! Located at the headwaters of the San Antonio River, the zoo exhibits over 3,500 animals from 750 different species within 35 landscaped acres. McNay Art MuseumThe McNay houses impressive artwork from 19th and 20th century America and Europe, in addition to one of the largest theater arts collections in the US. San Antonio Rock 'N' Roll MarathonDon't miss the inaugural Rock 'N' Roll San Antonio Marathon on November 16th. This one of a kind marathon features over 70 bands along the course which passes several historic missions and wraps up at the Alamodome. |

Welcome/Overview Keynote speakers provided insight from four perspectives: (1) national, (2) research, (3) vendor/construction, and (4) maintenance. SESSION A: DUST SUPPRESSION
This session highlighted the current methods, available products, and aggregates used in Dust Suppression. What works and what does not work as well as road base preparation was discussed. New technologies and ecological impacts from a research based perspective was also presented. SESSION B: DUST STABILIZATION
This sessionhighlighted current methods, available products, and aggregates used in Soil Stabilization. What works and what does not work as well as road base preparation was discussed. New technologies was also presented. SESSION C1: ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS OF DUST SUPPRESSANTS TO CONTROL DUST
This session covered air quality, human health and impacts to vegetation, soil and wildlife, water quality and impacts from products as well as suppressant chemistry. SESSION C2: PLANNING AND DESIGN FOR THE FUTURE
This session addressed planning projects from conception to completion as well as dust control based on ADT. Cost analysis of dust control versus dust stabilization was also given. POSTER PRESENTATIONS:
